I live in a world I don't understand I can't make out up from down or left from right All around I see pain and sadness Families who know nothing but how to fight
I wish love filled this world I wish it filled our hearts and minds I wish all would love one another Despite all of the different kinds
I know this can be If we love oneself And stop taking our hurt out To place one a stranger's shelf
What do you think?

Poetry (the term derives from a variant of the Greek term, poiesis, "making") is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language—such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and metre—to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, the prosaic ostensible meaning.
